The Electric Inspectorate remains steadfast in its commitment to ensuring public safety, regulatory compliance, and the promotion of energy efficiency across all sectors. As an integral wing of the department, the Inspectorate plays a critical role in enforcing electrical laws, investigating technical irregularities, and safeguarding the lives and property of the public through rigorous inspection and monitoring procedures.

On behalf of the Electric Inspectorate, I wish to reaffirm our resolve to strengthen our field operations, introduce modern technological tools, and build institutional capacity to meet emerging challenges in the power sector. We recognize the importance of collaboration among stakeholders — including distribution companies, industrial and commercial consumers, and the general public — in fostering a safer and more reliable electrical environment.
